Home Education - Awesome artists

Whether it inspires or alarms, carries political message or is created just for aesthetics, art is all around us. Our awesome artists workshops allow those attending to focus on a well known, and some less well known, artists understanding what drove them and how they were influenced by the world in which they lived. Each block of workshops will focus on a particular school or time period, meaning our focus can be as diverse as renaissance art, the impressionists, pop art or sculpture of the 20th century. Workshops will incorporate child-led learning and those attending will be encouraged to become awesome artists in their own rights, creating their own piece of artwork drawing on the influences of the artists studied to create 2d and 3d works in a range of media.

Sessions are booked in blocks with each session lasting 2 hours.  All session materials, a drink and snack are all provided.
