Home Education - Around the world in 80 tastes

In Jules Verne's book 'Around the world in 80 days' , Phileas Fogg sets off to circumnavigate the globe visiting a range of exotic locations. In our around the world workshops those attending will set off on their own imaginary world tour, loosely based on the Verne text, seeking to uncover more about the nations of the world. Each stop will give participants the opportunity to find out more of the country being visited providing an immersive experience to better understand the history, culture and cuisine of the nation.  The sessions are child-led so that participants can focus on their greatest area of interest to encourage greater engagement. Each workshop will end with preparing a food from the nation visited,  giving those taking part the chance to travel around the world in 80 tastes!

Sessions are booked in blocks with each session lasting 2 hours.  All session materials, a drink and snack are all provided. Please advise us in advance of the first session if your child has any specific dietary requirements so that we can accommodate them.
